They had friends along with them on the hike that captured the moment, I am SO glad they were there. The pictures are amazing!
The big day will be sooner than any of us expected due to Anthony's deployment. Thankfully, Rachael's sister is helping to plan the event and the wedding will be at her beautiful home. It's going to be a busy couple of months for our families!
So, for this "Thankful Friday" my list is LONG...but can be summed up with a few words...
I am thankful for the blessing of watching our first born become a husband, for his girl to become a wife and forever join our family as our DAUGHTER! We LOVE Rachael and couldn't have picked a better fit for our son. She completes him. I've prayed for his future wife since the day he was born...it's awesome to finally see the answer to those prayers.
OK, so that was more like a paragraph, but you get the point. :)

Valerie!!! I am trilled for you and for Anthony!! I know how much you have loved this young lady - it comes through in your writing!! (I teared up reading thos post and looking at the picture - I can see how happy you are!!) I will be thinking of you the next many weeks and praying for you and Rachael and Anthony as you all prepare for the wedding!!

Thank you, Christine! Yes, we are very excited and thrilled to be adding Rachael to our family. Wade and I have said many times over that we could not have picked a better girl for our boy. She completes him and we love her. The next few weeks will surely be crazy for us, thank you for the prayers. :) So much change in our family in such a short amount of time, makes my head spin. :)
Valerie - I just wanted you to know that when my hubby and I prayed together last evening my husband prayed for your family and thanked God for your son's fine choice in a wife and prayed the same for our boys! I thought it was so sweet that he remembered my "bloggy" friend and your family!! Hugs to you!! I hope you are having a great day! Mine so far has involved taking apart the inside of my fridge and cleaning the whole thing out - not my favorite job - but boy, it's nice to know it's done hahahaha!! :0)
Oh Christine, that makes me feel so good! Thank you for sharing this, and thank your husband for the prayer over my son and Rachael. I am so blessed to have so many friends that love my kids and pray for them and our family.
I've had a good day so far, full, but good. I need to clean out my fridge and it is NOT my favorite job...wanna come do mine now? :) Dinner and laundry are on my list for this afternoon and evening. We've been at our homeschool co-op all afternoon. Between loads of laundry and dinner I'll be working on wedding shower ideas and plans. So much going on in our lives, I have GOT to make more lists. :)
